Presenter: Hagai Arbel, Founder, and CEO of Vtool Smart Verification
Short Bio: Hagai heads Vtool, steering the company forward. He is the founder of Veriest, a verification services company, a speaker at DVCon, and holds more than 20 years of verification and VLSI engineering experience, including management and company hands-on building. A leading figure in the industry, he has trained and mentored numerous professionals many of whom have pursued leadership positions.
Abstract: Microchips (ASICs and FPGAs) are all around us, in our phones, our cars, our communication. They determine the future of technology and by extension the future of humanity.
They are so important to technology, that in the last five years, giants like Google, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Facebook, and others - design their own ASICs. The industry invests dozens of billions in skilled engineers and sophisticated verification tools. Yet, only 30% of the times, a newly designed ASIC works at the first attempt.
Vtool’s mission is to revolutionize the way we do verification and our abilities to design more complex chips that work much faster. With design centers in Israel, Serbia, France, and Greece, Vtool had recently opened its Gliwice office and we are happy to invite you to discuss the future with us.
