Faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science

In order to constantly improve the quality of education, the Senate of the Silesian University of Technology decided to introduce the Education Quality Assurance System (EQAS-SZJK) at the University. This system is applied at all Silesian University of Technology faculties and has been implemented since the 2008/2009 academic year. The QMS is a set of guidelines, rules, and procedures covering all aspects of the education process. The system is described in the Education Quality Book and related procedures.

EQAS-SZJK objectives:

• increasing the quality of education,
• specification and unification of duties and rights of participants in the
• education process,
• raising the rank of didactic work,
• increasing the influence of students on the education process,
• disseminating good practices in the teaching process,
• promotion of the University's didactic offer.

Legal basis of the System:

• The Law on Higher Education,
• Regulation No. 59/15/16 of the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology of May 31, 2016, on the Education Quality Assurance System.
