Our PhD student awarded in Oxford!
Joanna Rocznik, M. Eng. was awarded the Risø DTU student prize for best poster presentation at the UKLum2024. She presented her and her team’s research Pottery moisture content investigation for improved OSL dating precision which impressed the panel of judges consisting of renowned scientists and experts in the field of luminescence dating.
Joanna is now starting her second year as a PhD student in the Division of Geochronology and Environmental Isotopes (discipline: Earth and Environmental Sciences, supervisor: prof. Grzegorz Poręba), continuing her already 6-year long history of cooperation within the Division’s Luminescence Dating Laboratory.
We are delighted with Joanna’s accomplishment and wish her more in the future!
