XIII Zjazd Geomorfologów Polskich, Łódź 2024
In June, we had the pleasure of participating in the XIII Zjazd Geomorfologów Polskich, held in Łódź from June 17th to 20th, 2024. This prestigious event brought together distinguished scholars, researchers, and professionals in the field of geomorphology from all over Poland.
Our department's student, Agnieszka Bolik, took an active part in the conference, presenting the results of her research. Her presentation was titled "Chronologia pozostałości historycznych szybów górniczych w okolicy Tarnowskich Gór na podstawie datowania radiowęglowego i luminescencyjnego" ("Chronology of Historical Mine Shafts in the Tarnowskie Góry Area Based on Radiocarbon and Luminescence Dating"). Agnieszka Bolik presented the results obtained by the team within the framework of a student project in the γFORCE scientific club.
Participation in the XIII Zjazd Geomorfologów Polskich was not only an opportunity to present research findings but also to establish valuable contacts and exchange experiences with other specialists in the field of geomorphology. We are proud of our student's achievements and look forward to her future successes in her scientific career.
