γ-FORCE Makes an Impact at LED2023: 17th International Luminescence and Electron Spin Resonance Dating Conference
The 17th International Luminescence and Electron Spin Resonance Dating Conference has concluded successfully. Hosted by the Department of Physics at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU Physics), this prestigious event took place in Copenhagen, Denmark, from June 25th to 30th, drawing a worldwide community of scholars, researchers, and industry professionals. One of the noteworthy presentations was from Maciej Gosek, who under the aegis of the scientific club γ-FORCE, showcased a compelling poster on "Dose rate measurements with correlated U, Th, and K uncertainties using full NaI gamma spectrum analysis." Gosek's innovative approach to data processing for dose rate determination in trapped charge dating offered a fresh perspective and a significant contribution to the field.
