Human Resources Manager
The HR Manager specialization is offered in the second-cycle studies in Management direction. During their studies, students gain theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of broadly understood, multi-faceted human resource management with modern methods and personnel management tools including the concept of personnel training and preparation of personnel processes and their effective implementation in the organizational practice. In addition, they acquire knowledge on labor law, finances management or the principles of effective negotiations.
The main purpose of the work of a HR manager is to facilitate the organization to implement its intentions, primarily by conducting an appropriate personnel policy, consisting in creating a highly motivated, efficient and creative team of employees that will not only be able to carry out current tasks but also meet new challenges. This goal is implemented by the HR manager in the areas of:
- HR strategy,
- employment,
- personnel development and career path building,
- remuneration system,
- team management.
After completing this specialization, graduates can find employment as specialists, advisors and managers in small and medium sized enterprises as well as in large companies operating in various industries. Depending on the duties in the position held, they can organize or assist in the processes of: employment planning, negotiations, rewarding, reporting, employee training, creating payment policy, implementing changes, modelling organizational structures, shaping the organizational culture, managing talents and maintaining effective internal communication in the organization.
