Dear Partners and Colleagues,

We have the pleasure to invite international relation officers, university educators, professors and lecturers  interested in innovative educational practices in HE sector to our SUT International Staff Training Week 2022 which will be taking place in Gliwice, Poland during November 14 -18, 2022.

Global problems require global solutions. In a world of uncertainty, conflict and climate instability we need more than ever to collaborate globally to find sustainable solutions to the challenges we face. Today researchers, teachers, students, public institutions, and companies are collaborating digitally to find solutions to societal and environmental problems. The pandemic saw many successful global collaborations to develop vaccines and study the effects of the virus.

In this year’s International Staff Training Week, we will be investigating and discussing examples of sustainable international collaboration through:

- education for sustainable development

- collaborative problem solving

- connected learning: personal learning networks, telecollaboration, VE projects

- English for scientific research and business communication

- project development strategies

The week will once again combine on-site and online participation to facilitate accessibility and we will also feature meetings with key staff from SUT and chances to network and discuss future collaboration and exchange activities. Activities will include inspiring keynote speakers from around the world, practical workshops and plenty of opportunities for discussions on the issues raised. Of course, you will also get a chance to learn more about the culture of this part of Poland, Silesia, with study visits and plenty of good food!
