Studencka Konferencja Zastosowań Matematyki MathUp
Have you ever wondered if mathematics can be used in an interesting way? Or maybe you would like to share your passion with others? If so, then the Student Conference on Applications of Mathematics MathUp is just for you!
MathUp is a conference aimed at showing that mathematics is widely used in our environment. There were papers on breaking Enigma codes, music, neural networks and forecasting the development of epidemics. The event is organized by students for students and will be held for the 7th time! It will take place on April 9, 2025 at the Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering of the Lodz University of Technology.
The organizers have prepared many inspiring presentations that may change your perspective on mathematics. During the conference, speakers will have a chance to win prizes, and the audience will be able to win unique gifts in competitions. This year, the Organizers will be able to sponsor a place in a dormitory for selected students from outside Łódź for the night before the conference. The deadline for speaker applications is March 23, 2025.
