Our students have been awarded a scholarship from the Minister of Science and Higher Education
We are delighted to announce that students from the Faculty of Applied Mathematics at the Silesian University of Technology have been named among the recipients of the Minister of Science and Higher Education Scholarship. This is one of the most prestigious awards granted for outstanding and significant academic or artistic achievements related to their studies, or for significant sporting achievements.
The following students from our Faculty have received the scholarship:
- Antoni Jaszcz (Computer Science) in the field of technical computer science and telecommunications,
- Agnieszka Polowczyk (Computer Science (practical profile)) in the field of technical computer science and telecommunications,
- Alicja Polowczyk (Computer Science (practical profile)) in the field of technical computer science and telecommunications.

The Department of Thermal Engineering at the Silesian University of Technology, together with its industry partners, is announcing a nationwide competition for the best Master’s thesis on the application of computational methods to the simulation of thermal and flow processes. The aim of the competition is to promote students’ achievements in the application of computational techniques in the broadly defined field of thermal engineering. Thanks to the presence of representatives from industry and software companies on the competition jury, information about the best theses and their authors will reach potential employers.
