5th edition of the thesis competition ‘Create a green future with Cemex’

We warmly invite you to participate in the fifth edition of the thesis competition ‘Create a green future with Cemex’.

The aim of the competition is to recognise the best theses on innovative technological and product solutions in the construction industry that support the climate goals of the European Green Deal.

Who can participate?
Theses (bachelor's, engineer's, master's, postgraduate) defended between September 2024 and March 2026 that have not been previously submitted to Cemex competitions are eligible for submission. Works created on the initiative of and/or in cooperation with Cemex Polska will not be accepted.


Application deadline
Until 15 March 2026 (application in the first stage via an online form).

Thematic areas (min. 1)
• CO₂ reduction in the 5C value chain,
• ecological and innovative material solutions (including alternative/recycled raw materials),
• circular economy,
• optimisation and improvement of the efficiency of production processes and products.

Prizes
• 1st place: PLN 7,000, 2nd place: PLN 5,000, 3rd place: PLN 3,000
• additional financial prizes for the promoters of the winning projects. [cemex.pl]
