The 15th edition of Start It Up

On October 9th in the Science and Technology Park “Technopark Gliwice”, the 15th edition of “Start It Up” will take place. It is an event dedicated to start-ups, entrepreneurs and all those who take their first steps in business. Start It Up is a cyclical event organized by Technopark Gliwice. It is dedicated to start-ups, entrepreneurs and all those who take their first steps in business.

Start It Up is a big dose of knowledge, inspiration, and networking. In each edition, the organizers try to touch on topics close to entrepreneurs, as well as bring the latest business trends closer. There will be exceptional meetings with speakers and expert advice. Participation in the event is free.

Registration will begin on September 9th.

Agenda of the event:

- 16:30-16:45 – Welcome

- 16:45-17:30 – „the role of the leader in motivating employees” – Marcin Konieczny, business coach, partner in the training company House of Skills, IRONMAN World Champion, World Champion in duathlon and half marathon.

- 17:30-18:20 – “Climbing to the top of business” - Piotr Czmoch, entrepreneur, and founder of the online store 8a.pl, climber with entrepreneurial flair and author of podcasts.

- 18:20-18:30 – “Neural turbines, TB Technology” – Tomasz Lewański and Bartłomiej Holik, serial start-uppers.

- 18:30 – Networking

The Department of Thermal Engineering at the Silesian University of Technology, together with its industry partners, is announcing a nationwide competition for the best Master’s thesis on the application of computational methods to the simulation of thermal and flow processes. The aim of the competition is to promote students’ achievements in the application of computational techniques in the broadly defined field of thermal engineering. Thanks to the presence of representatives from industry and software companies on the competition jury, information about the best theses and their authors will reach potential employers.
