Cumulative investment in the development of internationalisation - a new pro-quality programme under Excellence Initiative- Research University (IDUB) covering 20 types of activities

In order to increase the activity of the University community in terms of significant increase in the level of internationalisation, a new pro-quality programme was launched as part of the participation of the Silesian University of Technology in the Excellence Initiative - Research University programme. 

The programme is addressed to basic units and their internal units as well as to university-wide units, employees, doctoral students and students of the Silesian University of Technology. It covers as many as 20 types of activities related to internationalisation. As part of the above-mentioned programme, it is possible to grant funding in the form of an increase in the subsidy, a salary supplement or remuneration granted on the basis of a civil law agreement. We encourage you to participate in the programme.

Prof. Olga Macedońska-Nosalska, has passed away

We regret to announce that Prof. Olga Macedońska-Nosalska, Honorary Professor at the Silesian University of Technology, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026. The funeral will take place on Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. at the cemetery on Francuska Street in Katowice.
