Zapisy na "Dobre Praktyki Tworzenia Oprogramowania"
Trwają zapisy na trzeci i zarazem ostatni w tym roku akademickim blok cyklu „Dobre Praktyki Tworzenia Oprogramowania” (DPTO). Tym razem organizatorzy wydarzenia zapraszają na ogólnodostępne wykłady, które dotyczyć będą zagadnienia DZIEDZICTWO PROGRAMISTÓW. Wykłady odbędą się 23 kwietnia 2015 roku na Wydziale Automatyki, Elektroniki i Informatyki Politechniki Śląskiej w Gliwicach.
„Dobre Praktyki Tworzenia Oprogramowania” (DPTO) to cykl wykładów i warsztatów, podczas których eksperci w dziedzinie tworzenia oprogramowania dzielą się z uczestnikami swoją wiedzą i prezentują różne aspekty pracy projektowej. Przedsięwzięcie ma na celu dbanie o wszechstronny rozwój studentów i absolwentów kierunków technicznych. Projekt jest realizowany na Uniwersytecie Śląskim i Politechnice Śląskiej.
Najbliższe wykłady poświęcone będą problematyce systemów odziedziczonych (legacy systems). Uczestnicy wydarzenia dowiedzą się m.in. jak postępować w sytuacjach związanych z modyfikacją funkcjonalności danej aplikacji, jak unikać błędów, które mogą wpłynąć na pogorszenie stabilności systemów oraz jakie techniki sprawdzają się najlepiej w przypadku pracy z kodem, którego nie jesteśmy autorami. Zapisy na trzeci blok cyklu „Dobre Praktyki Tworzenia Oprogramowania” odbywają się za pośrednictwem strony www.dpto.pl.
Uczestnicy cyklu będą ponadto mieli możliwość zapisania się na warsztaty, które odbędą się 9 maja 2015 roku w siedzibie firmy Future Processing. Ze względu na ograniczoną liczbę miejsc, pierwszeństwo udziału w warsztatach będą miały osoby, które uczestniczyły w innych wydarzeniach DPTO.
Wykłady z tematyki DZIEDZICTWO PROGRAMISTÓW będą ostatnim spotkaniem w ramach cyklu DPTO 2014/2015. Blok pierwszy, który odbył się w listopadzie 2014 roku, dotyczył tematyki MODELOWEGO WYTWARZANIA. Z kolei w ramach bloku drugiego, który odbył się w marcu 2015 roku, poruszone zostało zagadnienie ZWINNEJ KOMUNIKACJI.
Organizatorem cyklu DPTO jest firma Future Processing, biorąca udział w wielu kluczowych dla informatyki przedsięwzięciach, nawiązując przy tym współpracę z uczelniami wyższymi w obszarze rozwoju, badań i edukacji.

The Department of Thermal Engineering at the Silesian University of Technology, together with its industry partners, is announcing a nationwide competition for the best Master’s thesis on the application of computational methods to the simulation of thermal and flow processes. The aim of the competition is to promote students’ achievements in the application of computational techniques in the broadly defined field of thermal engineering. New partnership with the Comprehensive School in Pawłowice – establishment of an academic class
On March 11, 2026, the Municipality of Pawłowice and the Jan Paweł II Secondary School Complex signed an educational cooperation agreement with the Silesian University of Technology. As part of this collaboration, the Faculty of Applied Mathematics will provide lectures, workshops, and popular‑science activities for students of the newly established mathematics‑technical class.
