Faculty of Civil Engineering project on the list PolSV - Poland in Silicon Valley
PolSV - Poland in Silicon F25Valley Centre for Science, Innovation and Entrepreneurship is an innovative initiative linking Polish science, business and technology with the Silicon Valley ecosystem.
The aim is to develop academic cooperation, support Polish technology companies, develop innovation clusters and strengthen Poland's global position in the world of new technologies.
Among the 10 academic partners is the Silesian University of Technology, which has proposed 6 of its projects: https://polsv.org/part.../silesian-university-of-technology/.
This small group also includes a project that has been developed over several years by the staff of the Faculty of Civil Engineering: https://polsv.org/.../digital-twinning-of-bridges-and.../.
The project concerns the digitalisation of the processes of managing civil infrastructure assets, with particular emphasis on the idea of creating digital bridge twins.
