Faculty of Civil Engineering

We are pleased to announce that our student Mateusz Majocha was the winner of the student session "Master" accompanying the 6th edition of the conference Holzbau Forum Poland, held in Jachranka on 25-26.04.2022, and as the only one was awarded a small cash prize sponsored by the Association of Energy-Efficient Ready Houses.

The Conference Forum Holzbau Poland 2022 was attended by more than 400 people, and the Master Session, which was held parallel to the main proceedings, was attended by dozens of listeners. During this session, Mr Mateusz presented our Faculty with his engineering thesis entitled: "The design of a wooden industrial hall with LVL", which met with great interest and interesting discussion.

Mateusz Majocha for the session Master Holzbau was selected from a group of five finalists, from many applications sent from several Polish universities, and is currently still a student at our Faculty of Construction, on a part-time second degree course.
