A student of the Faculty of Civil Engineering awarded in a competition announced by GDDKiA
We are pleased to announce that our second-degree student of road specialization, Mr. Eng. Adrian Pluta took the third place in the competition entitled "Innovations in road construction" organized by the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA).
A total of over 40 students from all over the country entered the competition, submitting their diploma theses in one of the three competition categories: "road materials and technologies", "traffic engineering and road safety solutions" and "road engineering facilities". Mr. Adrian Pluta's engineering project entitled "Reconstruction of the roundabout in concrete technology with continuous reinforcement" carried out under the supervision of PhD DSc. Bartłomiej Grzesik, was entered in the "road materials and technologies" category. In the same category, Mrs. Eng. Barbara Chlipalska, whose engineering project entitled "Influence of silica-polymer additive on the properties of porous surface concrete" realized under the supervision of PhD DSc. Wojciech Sorociak was finally placed fourth. Congratulations to our Engineers!
