New ideas and prospects for cooperation
Strengthening cooperation within the Faculty Social Council was the main topic of a meeting between Dean Professor Aleksandra Kuzior and Elżbieta Korecka, Director of the District Labour Office in Zabrze.
The discussion focused on the possibilities for the Faculty of Organization and Management of the Silesian University of Technology to become involved in the implementation of programmes promoting employment and supporting the activation of the local labour market. The participants also addressed the issue of signing a bilateral agreement enabling joint scientific, research and training initiatives.
They also discussed ways to increase the number of attractive opportunities for students interested in undertaking summer internships or work placements aimed at gaining knowledge and developing new competences expected by employers. Plans also include providing information and guidance from experts of the District Labour Office to students and graduates interested in available programmes designed to enhance their competitiveness on the labour market.
