Silesian University of Technology Education Day – presentation of educational projects
During the Education Day of the Silesian University of Technology, a meeting was held to present good practices in the implementation of teaching projects. The Faculty of Organization and Management was represented by Dr Aleksandra Synowiec and Prof. Magdalena Palacz. One of the projects presented during the meeting was SAFE LEARN, Supporting Adaptive and Flexible Education for War-Affected Students in Ukraine, implemented under the Erasmus+ programme by an international consortium in which the Silesian University of Technology acts as a partner. The presentation covered the concept of trauma- and neuro-sensitive teaching, as well as the role of the SAFE LEARN project in supporting a safer, more flexible and inclusive learning environment in higher education. Selected activities carried out together with partners from Ukraine, Lithuania, Germany and Sweden were also discussed, including the development of educational materials, strengthening teaching competences and designing more inclusive forms of education.
