Faculty of Organization and Management

On 13 May, the campus of the Faculty of Organization and Management of the Silesian University of Technology in Zabrze became a vibrant space filled with multilingualism, culture, and inspiring encounters.

On the occasion of Foreign Languages Day, organised by the Department of Applied Linguistics and Law, we welcomed secondary school students and teachers, who responded enthusiastically to our invitation. The programme of the event included lectures delivered by our academic staff, as well as language workshops prepared by students.

The aim of the event was not only to promote foreign language learning, but also to highlight the importance of cultural diversity and intercultural communication, which are essential elements of contemporary education. Participants had the opportunity to expand their knowledge, discover fascinating linguistic facts, and take part in numerous activities fostering integration and the exchange of experiences. The event was accompanied by a friendly atmosphere that encouraged openness, dialogue, and communication in different languages.
