IEEE IDAACS 2025 Scientific Conference in Gliwice

The 13th IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Data Acquisition and Advanced Computing Systems: Technology and Applications (IDAACS 2025) took place at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice from September 4-6, 2025.

The conference was jointly organized by the Department of Mathematical Methods in Technology and Computer Science of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, the Department of Economy and Informatics of the Faculty of Organization and Management, and the Department of Applied Informatics of the Faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science in cooperation with Ukrainian partners: West Ukrainian National University in Ternopil and the V. M. Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

Scientists from more than a dozen countries participated in the conference in Gliwice. In addition to Poland and Ukraine, the USA, Japan, France, Belgium, Germany, Greece, Finland, Norway, and Pakistan were represented. The conference in Gliwice provided a unique opportunity to establish new and interesting scientific contacts, strengthen existing collaborations, and develop new directions for joint research activities.

In addition to scientific presentations and informal discussions, the conference provided international guests with the opportunity to learn about the history and traditions of our region. Conference participants visited the historic “Guido” mine in Zabrze and the restored Chain Baths of the “Królowa Luiza” mine.

4th edition of the MuMaK competition and 13th edition of the KOALA competition

We invite you to participate in the fourth edition of the MuMaK team mathematics competition for secondary school pupils and students, and the KOALA team task competition for primary school pupils (grades 6, 7 and 8) and secondary school pupils.
