3rd edition of the MuMaK competition

In a few days, the deadline for submitting projects in the third edition of the MuMaK team mathematics competition for secondary school students and university students expires.

The competition task is to create a scenario for an educational activity (game, field activities, theatre performance, smartphone application, etc.) developing mathematical competences. In this way, we combine mathematics with the design of innovative educational services.

The winners will have the opportunity to test their idea during the Mathematics Festival in Kórnik on a large group of participants - last year we were visited by over 1,400 people. The project does not go into a vacuum - you can get feedback not only from the jury, but also from potential beneficiaries of the idea or users of the artifacts produced.

The winning team will also receive funding for the purchase of materials and production of exhibits needed to implement the winning project up to an amount not exceeding PLN 5,000, and its members will be awarded vouchers to be used in one of the popular online stores.

The regulations, application form and other information about the competition can be found on the competition website www.mumak.edu.pl. We are waiting for applications until March 31, 2025.

The organizer of the competition is the Zakłady Kórnickie Foundation, and the substantive patron - the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science of Adam Mickiewicz University.
