Konferencja online POB3 „Poznaj Firmę”
16 lutego odbędzie się spotkanie online z dr. Rolandem Kalbem, właścicielem firmy Prionic GmbH. Konferencja jest zorganizowana w ramach POB3: materiały przyszłości.
Dr Roland Kalb jest członkiem Międzynarodowej Rady Naukowej POB3. Jego firma – Prionic GmbH – specjalizuje się w projektowaniu i sprzedaży cieczy jonowych. Dr Kalb opowie o swojej ścieżce zawodowej od naukowca od szefa firmy. Spotkanie jest skierowane do wszystkich zainteresowanych osób, a w szczególności młodych naukowców.
POB3 „Poznaj Firmę” odbędzie się 16 lutego o godz. 14:00 za pośrednictwem platformy Zoom (meeting ID: 952 7193 9529, passcode: 386027).

Gold Medal for Long-term Service for our Employee
It is with great honour that we inform you that Roman Wituła, DSc, Eng., Assoc. Prof. at Silesian University of Technology, a long-standing employee of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, has been awarded the Gold Medal for Long-term Service, conferred by the President of the Republic of Poland.

Two students of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics qualified for the second stage of the XXVI National Higher Technical Education English Language Olympiad!

A student of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, Adrianna Maszniew, has won 3rd place in the 21st edition of the “My Idea for Business” competition!
The competition promotes entrepreneurship among students of the Silesian University of Technology, and her project was recognized for its innovation and market potential. Congratulations!
Report on the VII Chess Tournament for the Applied Mathematics Faculty Championship
The annual Applied Mathematics Faculty Championship Chess Tournament was held on 30 May 2025. This was the seventh edition of the Applied Mathematics Faculty Chess Championship. This year's event was characterised by a record number of participants, as well as a high level.
