The Social Council of the Silesian University of Technology
The Social Council was established to maintain close cooperation with the social and economic environment of our University. The current Council is appointed for the term of office of the Rector, i.e. until 31 August 2024.
The main tasks of the Council include:
- expressing opinions on the directions of development of the Silesian University of Technology,
- supporting the Silesian University of Technology in activities for its development,
- expressing opinions, exchanging experiences and views on matters concerning cooperation of the Silesian University of Technology with the social and economic environment,
- expressing opinions on teaching and research activities of the Silesian University of Technology,
- cooperation and exchange of information between the communities represented in the Social Council and the University community.
