Domy studenckie - informacje na rok akad. 2018/19
Uprzejmie informuję, że przydział miejsc w domach studenckich na nowy rok akademicki 2018/19 odbędzie się wg poniższego harmonogramu:
- W terminie do 08 czerwca 2018 r. mieszkańcy Ds-ów składają wnioski o przyznanie miejsca u kierownika wybranego domu studenckiego. W wybranym przez siebie domu studenckim wnioski mogą złożyć również studenci, którzy do tej pory nie mieszkali, a chcieliby zamieszkać w DS-ie od nowego roku akademickiego.
- W terminie do 15 czerwca 2018 r. imienne listy studentów wraz ze złożonymi wnioskami Administracja Osiedla Studenckiego przekaże do poszczególnych dziekanatów, w celu weryfikacji i wydania decyzji administracyjnej.
- W terminie do 21 czerwca 2018 r. Komisje Wydziałowe otrzymają informację dotyczącą ilości wolnych miejsc w poszczególnych domach studenckich dla studentów I roku.
Jednocześnie informuję, że ze względu na remont kapitalny nie będą przyjmowane wnioski na semestr zimowy 2018/19 do DS. Elektron oraz DS. Strzecha, które zostaną wyłączone z użytkowania i ponownie uruchomione po przeprowadzeniu kapitalnego remontu. Studenci, którzy mieszkali w w/w akademikach mogą składać wnioski w dowolnie wybranym akademiku.

Gold Medal for Long-term Service for our Employee
It is with great honour that we inform you that Roman Wituła, DSc, Eng., Assoc. Prof. at Silesian University of Technology, a long-standing employee of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, has been awarded the Gold Medal for Long-term Service, conferred by the President of the Republic of Poland.
Language success of students of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics
Two students of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics qualified for the second stage of the XXVI National Higher Technical Education English Language Olympiad!
Nearly 600 students from 15 technical universities from all over Poland took part in the competition. Congratulations and we keep our fingers crossed for further success!
Success of our Student in the competition "My Idea for Business"
A student of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, Adrianna Maszniew, has won 3rd place in the 21st edition of the “My Idea for Business” competition!
The competition promotes entrepreneurship among students of the Silesian University of Technology, and her project was recognized for its innovation and market potential. Congratulations!
