ABOUT
Dr. Yukesh Kannah Ravi is an Assistant Professor in the Centre for Organic and Nanohybrid Electronics, Silesian University of Technology (SUT), Poland. Prior to joining the SUT, Dr. Ravi YK served as Assistant Professor in various academic institutes in India and USA. He received his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering, M.E. Environmental Engineering and B.E. Civil Engineering from Anna University Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. His research mainly focuses on various waste biomass to bioenergy and biological wastewater treatment. He has authored/co-authored 60 peer-reviewed scientific journals, edited 3 books and authored 20 chapters. His articles received cumulative citation of 2500, H- Index 25. He presented his research outcome in various national / international technical conferences and received four best poster awards in the last 5 years. He also serves as an editor/reviewer in various international journals.
RESEARCH AREAS
Biomass pretreatment (Combined and Phase separated)
Bioenergy (Methane and Hydrogen) / value added product recovery (VFA and Bioplastics) from various waste biomass (waste activated sludge, anaerobic granular, lignocellulosic biomass, food waste, microalgae & macroalgae).
Bioelectricity generation from wastewater via Microbial Fuel cell.
Biological Wastewater Treatment: Aerobic (MBR) and Anaerobic (HUASB)
