- Influence of drop diameter on contact angle of electrolyte at steel plate.
Different diameter drops of MgSO4 saturated water solution, have different contact angles on the steel plates. Goniometer measurements should be done for water and electrolyte and statistical analysis should be performed.

- Comparison of isotherm models for selected dyes adsorption on aluminosilicates from their aqueous solutions
Synthetic dyes are becoming a more and more frequent component of wastewater discharged from industrial plants, and their relatively low concentrations in these aqueous solutions indicate adsorption methods as the most appropriate method of their separation. The aim of the work will be to verify the computational suitability of several models of adsorption isotherms for experimental data, describing quantitatively the adsorption equilibrium in aqueous solutions of synthetic dyes with the use of selected aluminosilicate sorbents and theoretical interpretation of the determined parameters of each model.

- Investigations of crystallization in a three-component systems
The goal of this work is to perform experimental research concerning isohydric crystallization by cooling of three-component systems. The measurements will be performed in the laboratory of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Process Design. Among the others the course of the process will be determined as well as the final Crystal Size Distribution. This research project requires the student’s availability to work in the laboratory. The basic laboratory skills are required (sample preparation, titration etc.) and good knowledge of English in order to read available scientific papers.
Supervisor: dr hab. inż. Marcin Lemanowicz, prof. Pol. Śl.
- Fabrication and start-up of an optoelectronic circuit
The subject of the project will be the fabrication, start-up and analysis of the properties of a flexible optoelectronic element based on the thermochromic effect. Silver nanowires and substances with thermochromic properties will be used to realize the project.
