The Corrosion Testing Laboratory would like to invite you to another corrosion LiveStream as part of the CorrDay2024 event!
Last year, as part of the celebration of Corrosion Day, we looked at the corrosion processes occurring on the surface of popular steel materials used in industry for three weeks continuously. The broadcast attracted the interest of viewers who actively participated in the text chat, asking many interesting questions.
This year, on the Electrochemistry Group YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCx8Lj66qkDAk2PzHjqUEZRw) , we will once again go on a journey with the viewers to the world of corrosion.
During this broadcast (non-stop until April 23, 2024), we will examine the impact of corrosive factors on various metal materials commonly used in industry. Additionally, we will determine the impact of selected anti-corrosion applications on the course of corrosion.
Observation of changes occurring on the surface of the tested materials during corrosion is just one of many activities planned for this time.
Members of the Chemistry Students Research Society have prepared a film for us showing the corrosion process from both a theoretical and practical perspective, as well as a panel in which they will help high school graduates solve sample high school leaving exam tasks in the area of electrochemistry and inorganic chemistry.
