Scholarships for those starting their studies
From July 2nd, 2026, university candidates can apply for the First-Year scholarship program of the Jerzy Juzoń Educational Foundation for 2026/2027. The scholarship is awarded for the first year of full-time studies at a Polish academic university and amounts to PLN 6,000. In the 2026/2027 academic year, FEJJ (Jerzy Juzoń Educational Foundation) plans to award scholarships to as many as 400 people. The founder, Jerzy Juzoń, is a graduate of the Silesian University of Technology.
A person who meets all of the following conditions is eligible to apply for an academic scholarship for the 2026/2027 academic year:
- passed the Matura exam in the current year or the year before,
- in the academic year in which he/she is applying for the scholarship, he/she was admitted to the first year of full-time studies and is taking up studies for the first time,
- chose to study at a Polish academic university,
- comes from a city or village with up to 30,000 inhabitants,
- the average monthly income per family member did not exceed PLN 2,000 in 2025.
- has Polish citizenship.

The mission of the Jerzy Juzoń Educational Foundation is to support talented young people who have to give up their dreams of studying because they are unable to finance a move to a big city. Every year, the foundation awards several hundred scholarships to people from smaller towns and low-income families. Since its inception, the Jerzy Juzoń Educational Foundation has awarded over 5,800 scholarships over 14 years.
Jerzy Juzoń is a graduate of the Faculty of Chemistry of the Silesian University of Technology. He managed to finish his studies in the difficult 1950s thanks to a scholarship, so after achieving professional success, he decided to share his fortune.
