Dr. Eng. Klaudia Stando, winner of the competition for the best doctoral dissertation organized by the Committee of Analytical Chemistry of the PAS
Dr. Klaudia Stando, Eng., has won the competition for the best doctoral dissertation in analytical chemistry held by the Committee of Analytical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
This highly prestigious award confirms the high scientific level of her research and its significant importance for the development of modern analytical chemistry.
The winning dissertation, titled "Development and Application of New Analytical Procedures for the Determination of Selected Pollutants and Their Transformation Products in the Environment," concerned the development and application of new analytical procedures enabling the determination of trace amounts of environmental pollutants and their transformation products in complex matrices.
The research results have been published in renowned scientific journals. Dr. Klaudia Stando's total publications include 17 publications with a combined IF of over 93.
The research was conducted as part of the OPUS project, funded by the National Science Centre.
The doctoral dissertation was completed in the Department of Inorganic, Analytical and Electrochemistry under the supervision of Prof. Dr. DSc, Eng. Sylwia Bajkacz.
