World Corrosion Awareness Day 2024
Like last year, we invite everyone to celebrate World Corrosion Awareness Day on April 24. It is an event established by the World Corrosion Organization. At our Faculty, starting this year we refer to this as CorrDay. This time, in addition to the traditional photography competition (last year's edition), we have 2 additional competitions for you: name a Cat and an art competition - for school-age students.
The upcoming, sunny Easter holidays will be an excellent opportunity to hunt for corrosion, so we encourage everyone to participate! All you need is a camera, a good idea, a good description, and attractive prizes can be yours. We encourage you to follow news about CorrDay, especially via Facebook.
The event was organized by employees of the Department of Inorganic Chemistry, Analytical and Electrochemistry and the Corrosion Testing Laboratory.
