Environmental Protection and Energy Conference 2021 award for students of the Faculty of Chemistry
Students of the Industrial and Engineering Chemistry, Mrs. Milena Kotek and Mr. Eng. Tomasz Walica, won the first prize in the competition for the best presentation at the international conference Environmental Protection and Energy Conference 2021 (https://www.facebook.com/epaec). The aim of the conference is to exchange scientific experiences in the field of soil protection, air and water resources, waste disposal, renewable energy sources, solar energy, hydropower, wind energy, biomass, geothermal energy, energy systems, energy efficiency, LCA, impact on the natural and dispersed environment energy. The subject of their presentation is "Prototyping of wastewater treatment processes using 3D printing and numerical simulations". The scientific supervisors of the students are dr inż. Agata Małysiak and dr hab. Eng. Marcin Lemanowicz from the Department of Chemical Engineering and Process Design.
