This year's Scientists' Night was held under the slogan "Science without borders." Numerous workshops, demonstrations and lectures proved that science has no borders and is accessible to all. Science without borders is also science that applies not only to earth space, but also to space. Many of the events held on October 7, 2023 in Gliwice, Zabrze, Katowice and Rybnik were devoted to the topic of space engineering research.
As every year, the staff and students of the Faculty of Construction prepared extremely interesting demonstrations, workshops and experiments, which were presented in: Center for New Technologies, Education and Convention Center and the Faculty of Construction. The following were built: settlements on the moon, the tallest tower, a historical market and a house. A vacuum confetti cannon, the strength of concrete, colored curves and a sandbox at the roadhouse were tested. Ceramic Christmas decorations, concrete cup pads and arched roofs were made. Participants did not disappoint and the builders' stands were very popular.
