On November 8, 2022, the Faculty of Civil Engineering was visited by pupils of two high schools: Gen. Stanisław Maczek Construction School Complex from Bielsko-Biala and Construction and Ceramics School Complex from Gliwice.
Construction Laboratory, coordinated by PhD Radosław Jasinski, prof. at SUT and PhD Monika Sroka-Bizoń, allowed our guests to participate in a series of interesting laboratory tests conducted as part of the course Diagnostics in Construction. The tests presented to the pupils were conducted by PhD Janusz Brol, PhD Rafał Domagała, PhD Łukasz Drobiec, prof. at SUT, M.Sc. Mieczysław Kot, PhD Wojciech Mazur, PhD Adam Piekarczyk, PhD Mirosław Wieczorek and technician Krzysztof Jonderko. We hope that the opportunity to participate in the laboratory tests, to place the samples with their own hands, to read the results and meet with the professional, scientific staff of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, will become an inspiration to study at our Faculty for the most of our guests.
