General information for students starting education in the first semester (from 01.10.2024)
Registration for foreign languages:

Full-time first degree students complete 120h of compulsory English classes with elements of technical and specialized language (at the Faculty of Organization and Management- business language) during 4 semesters at the rate of 30h/semester.
Students have the right to choose the level of the language group in accordance with the scale of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The choice includes B2 and C1 levels.
Suggested level selection criteria:
B2 - students who took only the Basic Matura Exam and students who took the Extended Matura Exam and scored up to 50%.
C1 - students who took the Extended Matura Exam and obtained a score of more than 50%, and other willing students who did not take the Extended Matura Exam or took the Matura Exam in another foreign language despite a very good knowledge of English.
The C1 level is more advanced than the B2 level – according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
When choosing a group, it is important to pay attention to the level and major to which the group is dedicated. Different majors within the same faculty may have classes at different times.
You search first for your faculty and only in the next step for your major, where you will find dedicated groups.
In case there are no more places in the groups of the selected level, please follow the information on the Foreign Languages Centre website.
If you make a wrong choice of level or group, it will be necessary to deregister and re-register.
Every student studying in the Polish language is obliged to register for English classes!
