XV Conference PPM 2023, Gliwice 18-19.05.2023r.
The conference covered fundamental metrological issues common to all measurements, including technical, technological, theoretical, educational, as well as organisational, and legal aspects.
The conference was held under the honorary patronage of His Magnificence Rector of the Silesian University of Technology, PhD Arkadiusz Mężyk, the Mayor of Gliwice, Mr. Adam Neumann, and the District Head of Gliwice, Mr. Włodzimierz Gwiżdż. Scientific and institutional patronage was provided by the Central Office of Measures in Warsaw and the Metrology Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences Branch in Katowice. In addition to the staff of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and other faculties of the Silesian University of Technology, the conference was attended by scientists from other national centres and representatives of the industry.
During the conference, a total of 36 papers were presented, including 16 in verbal form and 20 in the form of posters. Preparations are currently underway to publish scientific articles in a specialized electrical engineering journal.
