Graduates of this specialty receive basic general construction education, but in particular are prepared to design and construct linear engineering structures, transportation systems and transportation earthworks. They may specialize in the construction of roads, streets and airports, which prepares them to work in the field of road design, construction and administration, or in the construction of rail roads, which prepares them to solve problems in the field of traffic engineering of rail roads and urban rail communications. Graduates also acquire knowledge of the effects of mining influences on linear transportation facilities.
