The subject of study in the diploma profile is issues related to the use, power supply, maintenance and management of the above-mentioned facilities. A graduate of this profile is prepared primarily to carry out activities related to the process of maintaining buildings, i.e. keeping them in good technical and aesthetic condition.
The purpose of training profile students is to prepare them for design and implementation:
- new facilities from the point of view of their future operation, taking into account the principles of sustainable development in construction;
- construction projects in existing facilities, including their repair, renovation, modernization, restoration;
- conservation and restoration activities of historic buildings.
Student learning outcomes for the profile include knowledge and skills in:
- design of new and rehabilitation of existing buildings and their power supply (equipment), due to the formation of a healthy indoor climate and energy efficiency, including passive buildings;
- preparation of energy audits and certificates;
- estimating the environmental impact on the quality of operation of construction facilities;
- preparation of assessment of the impact of construction facilities on the environment and its minimization.
