The "Civil and Industrial Structures" profile places special emphasis on the ability to independently design all kinds of cubic and industrial construction structures, in the field of concrete (including reinforced and prestressed concrete), metal, masonry and wooden structures. At the same time, theoretical and research knowledge is improved, preparing students to solve issues of a research and scientific nature. They obtain preparation in the field of computer-aided design to a large extent.

As a result, graduates of the SE-CIS (KBiI-BMiP) specialty are prepared, first of all, for independent work in design and execution units, as well as in scientific and research institutions related to construction. The wide and universal range of knowledge acquired during the studies is a guarantee of obtaining employment.

Completion of the second degree opens the way to obtaining design and executive authorizations in the diploma profile (or related), and also allows for the continuation of education at the doctoral level.
