Skill: The student can:

symbol description
K1A_U01 classify the construction works
K1A_U02 perform the load combination and the standard load combination for the construction works in accordance with the relevant design situations at the limit state.
K1A_U03 define computational models of computer analysis of structures, simulate various construction variants, perform static analysis and elements of dynamic analysis of statically determinate and indeterminate bar structures, as well as critically evaluate the results of these analyzes
K1A_U04 size selected structural elements and design simple metal, reinforced concrete, composite, timber and masonry structures, as well as simple foundations and structural elements in bridge/communication structures
K1A_U05 use their knowledge to analyze and solve typical tasks in mechanics, thermodynamics, electricity, magnetism, optics, quantum physics using advanced mathematical tools (vector spaces, matrix, differential and integral calculus, probability calculus and mathematical statistics), and explain selected processes and chemical phenomena affecting the manufacturing technology and durability of materials and building components
K1A_U06 plan and perform simple laboratory experiments leading to the assessment of mechanical and physical properties and durability of building materials used as well as geotechnical parameters of the soil
K1A_U07 read architectural, construction and geodetic drawings and prepare graphic documentation in the environment of selected CAD and BIM software
K1A_U08 prepare an energy audit of a fragment of a construction object, as well as prepare a simple cost estimate and schedule of selected construction works
K1A_U09 properly select sources and information from them, evaluate, critically analyze and synthesize this information, and use software supporting the work of the investor, construction works organizer, designer, site manager and construction supervision inspector
K1A_U10 apply the provisions of the construction law as well as standards and regulations regarding execution and design in the construction industry
K1A_U11 plan and organize individual and team work on the building site in accordance with the principles of construction work technology, and assess the risks during their realization by implementing appropriate safety rules
K1A_U12 present, assess and discuss various opinions and positions concerning structural, material and technological solutions, taking into account the cost-effectiveness and durability of the analysed solution
K1A_U13 communicate with the environment using specialised terminology, including a foreign language at B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
K1A_U14 use their knowledge - formulate and solve complex and unusual problems and perform tasks in conditions not fully predictable by:
- appropriate selection of sources and information derived from them, evaluation, critical analysis and synthesis of this information,
- selection and application of appropriate methods and tools, including advanced information and communication technologies
