The Silesian University of Technology draws its strength from the tradition and experience gained over the 75 years of its existence, as well as from the ambitions justified by its current potential, as evidenced by its participation in two strategic programmes - " Excellence Initiative - Research University" (IDUB) and the "European University (Eureca-Pro) – and also in the projects of the Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development (OP WER), further increasing the motivation for the implemented pro-quality policy and ambitious improvement plan.
The Silesian University of Technology intends to strengthen its position among European research universities, as well as to increase its international recognition as a modern and entrepreneurial university, where the university values are confirmed by the signing of the Great Charter of Universities, scientific excellence and the highest quality of education are jointly the highest priority of the university.
