Faculty of Organization and Management

On June 18, 2026, the 53rd General Assembley of the Scientific Society for Organization and Management (TNOiK) was held in Warsaw, during which new Society leadership was elected and its members were honored. The Executive Board included faculty members from the Faculty of Organization and Management at the Silesian University of Technology:

• Lilla Knop, Ph.D., Eng., Prof. at the Silesian University of Technology
• Katarzyna Dohn, Ph.D., Eng., Prof. at the Silesian University of Technology
• Sławomir Olko, Ph.D., Eng., Prof. at the Silesian University of Technology.

At the first meeting, Lilla Knop, Ph.D., Eng., Prof. at the Silesian University of Technology, was elected President of the TNOiK Executive Board.

The following were appointed members of the Main Scientific Council:

• Prof. Jan Brzóska,
• Prof. Radosław Wolniak.

In addition, the following were inducted as honorary members of TNOiK at the Congress:

• Lilla Knop, Ph.D., Eng., Prof. SUT
• Prof. Radosław Wolniak.

 TNOiK honorary badges were also awarded:

• Prof. Jan Brzóska, Ph.D., Eng., received the Gold Honorary Badge with a wreath.

The Scientific Society for Organization and Management was founded in 1925. Karol Adamiecki—the doyen of Polish management—played a leading role among the founders. TNOiK publishes the journal *Przegląd Organizacji*, operates the publishing house Dom Organizatora, and has 15 regional branches.
