Faculty of Organization and Management

Agnieszka Lasko, a student of Management (first-cycle studies) at the Faculty of Organization and Management of the Silesian University of Technology, successfully combines her academic education with a sporting career in equestrianism, achieving significant successes at both national and international levels.

The athlete specializes in eventing (Eventing / Equestrian Three-Day Event), and her regular competition partner is a 12-year-old gelding, Viserion. She began the 2026 season with an excellent result – 3rd place in the CNC2* competition held on April 17–19, 2026, at the Stallion Stud in Bogusławice.

In recent years, Agnieszka Lasko has recorded a number of notable sporting achievements. Among the most important are: victory in the Silesian and Lesser Poland Eventing Championships in the senior category (Facimiech, August 8–10, 2025), 2nd place in the Polish Eventing Cup in the OPEN category (Strzegom, September 20–22, 2024), and 1st place at the international CCI1* Facimiech Horse Trials (August 30 – September 1, 2024). The athlete also secured 2nd place in the Silesian and Lesser Poland Eventing Championships (senior category, Facimiech, July 19–21, 2024), as well as 2nd place in the Polish Academic Championships in equestrianism in the show jumping category (amateurs), in the classification of technical universities.

Her high positions in sports rankings are also noteworthy – including 2nd place in the Seniors and Young Riders ranking of the Silesian Equestrian Federation (2022, 2024), as well as the title of Best Young Rider in the overall classification of the Polish Equestrian Federation in 2023 and 2024.

The student’s achievements confirm that consistency, passion, and excellent organization make it possible to effectively combine academic studies with competitive sport, and they are a source of pride for the entire academic community of our Faculty.
