Silesian University of Technology, Faculty of Organization and Management joins the international consortium implementing the SAFE LEARN project
On October 1, 2025, the SAFE LEARN (Supporting Adaptive and Flexible Education for War-Affected Students in Ukraine) project was launched, funded under the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education programme.
The project, implemented in 2025–2028 in cooperation with universities from Lithuania, Germany, Sweden and Ukraine, aims to introduce trauma-sensitive teaching (TST) methods in higher education.
At the Silesian University of Technology, the project is coordinated by PhD Aleksandra Synowiec from the Department of Applied Social Sciences.
SAFE LEARN supports the development of a safe and empathetic educational environment for students affected by the war and strengthens the resilience and innovation of the European higher education system.
