Initiatives of the Student Activity Centre of the Silesian University of Technology
We encourage students to take advantage of the wide range of events, workshops, training sessions, and meetings organized by the Student Activity Centre (CAS) of the Silesian University of Technology. A new edition of recurring student-focused initiatives has just begun, offering an excellent opportunity to develop interests, gain new skills, pursue personal projects, and engage with the academic community.

- 14 October 2026, 5:00 p.m. – Engineer’s Cinema event Kino Inżyniera (Student Creativity Centre, 3 Akademicka Street, Gliwice).
- 20 October 2026, 4:30-5:30 p.m. – Creative English workshop Creative English (Student Creativity Centre, 3 Akademicka Street, Gliwice).
- 26 October 2026, 3:00-6:00 p.m. – Future Engineer workshop: “Mechatronics in Practice: Building a Quadruped Robot” „Mechatronika w praktyce – budowa robota czworonożnego” (CAS Katowice, 8 Krasińskiego Street, Katowice).
- 29 October 2026, 3:00-6:00 p.m. – Future Engineer workshop: “Mechatronics in Practice: Building a Quadruped Robot” „Mechatronika w praktyce – budowa robota czworonożnego” (Student Creativity Centre, 3 Akademicka Street, Gliwice).
- 6, 13, 20 and 27 October 2026, 1:00-3:00 p.m. – Career counselling sessions provided by the Career Office of the Silesian University of Technology dyżury doradców zawodowych Biura Karier (Student Creativity Centre, 3 Akademicka Street, Gliwice).
- Every Tuesday in October – Time for Katowice CzAS na Katowice - consultations and workshops held in the Mechatronics and 3D Printing Laboratory (8 Krasińskiego Street, Katowice, room 097).
Students are also encouraged to make use of the modern creative spaces and workshop facilities of the Student Activity Centre, available at the Student Creativity Centre and the CAS Technology Hall.
