New Directions of Cooperation
A cooperation agreement between the Faculty of Organization and Management of the Silesian University of Technology and the City of Zabrze was signed on 16 July at the City Hall by Professor Aleksandra Kuzior, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr Ewa Weber, Acting Mayor of Zabrze.
“We intend to jointly carry out scientific research, educational, training and implementation projects, building on our existing experience and responding dynamically to new development trends and emerging challenges faced both by local governments and higher education institutions. Cooperation with the local government in the city where our Faculty is based provides added value to both the local community and the academic community of the Faculty. We already have shared ideas for projects and innovative solutions for which we will seek funding from the EU and other available programmes,” said Professor Aleksandra Kuzior.
The agreement includes a declaration of intent to undertake initiatives aimed at developing knowledge in fields such as management, social sciences, and cognitive technologies, with a particular focus on the increasingly important area of cybersecurity.
