Students Explore the Secrets of Virtual TV Production at TVS Studio
Students of the Cognitive Technologies and Social Media program had the opportunity to delve into the world of virtual television production during a visit to the TVS studio.
The workshop, organized by Professor Aleksandra Kuzior—Dean of the Faculty of Organization and Management and Head of the Department of Applied Social Sciences—was led by Jacek Swoboda, Director of TVS. He was joined by staff members of the regional television station responsible for program production, editing, and broadcasting.
The visit to the editorial office headquarters in Katowice, located at 12 Grunwaldzki Square, provided an excellent opportunity to ask questions and clarify doubts related to the practical use of modern multimedia techniques.
“As a graduate of the Silesian University of Technology, specifically the Faculty of Organization and Management, I am a great enthusiast of the exact sciences—especially statistics and its practical applications. To this day, that knowledge and the ability to analyze data help me make decisions regarding the operations of TVS. I was truly pleased to share my professional experience and speak to students about how TVS functions. I’m glad they have the chance to explore different organizations and I wish them to draw inspiration and ideas from each visit, transforming them into their own professional goals and accomplishments,” said Jacek Swoboda, Director of TVS.
