Spotkanie informacyjne dla studentów - realizacja podwójnego dyplomu
Serdecznie zapraszamy studentów I roku studiów magisterskich do wzięcia udziału w otwartym spotkaniu z przedstawicielami uczelni partnerskiej w Wielkiej Brytanii - Cranfield University, które odbędzie się 7 lutego 2017 roku (wtorek). Miejsce spotkania: aula główna Centrum Innowacji i Transferu Technologii (CITT) przy ulicy Banacha 7 w Gliwicach. Zaczynamy o godzinie 9:00. Język roboczy prezentacji - angielski.
Spotkanie dotyczyć będzie studiów w trybie podwójnego dyplomu, możliwościach rozwoju, korzyściach ze studiów w Cranfield, życiu studenckim na campusie i samym Cranfield.
Prelegentami będą wybitni naukowcy reprezentujący poszczególne szkoły w Cranfield University (https://www.cranfield.ac.uk):

Gold Medal for Long-term Service for our Employee
It is with great honour that we inform you that Roman Wituła, DSc, Eng., Assoc. Prof. at Silesian University of Technology, a long-standing employee of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, has been awarded the Gold Medal for Long-term Service, conferred by the President of the Republic of Poland.

Two students of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics qualified for the second stage of the XXVI National Higher Technical Education English Language Olympiad!

The competition promotes entrepreneurship among students of the Silesian University of Technology, and her project was recognized for its innovation and market potential. Congratulations!
Report on the VII Chess Tournament for the Applied Mathematics Faculty Championship
The annual Applied Mathematics Faculty Championship Chess Tournament was held on 30 May 2025. This was the seventh edition of the Applied Mathematics Faculty Chess Championship. This year's event was characterised by a record number of participants, as well as a high level.
