Trwa rekrutacja do projektu "Biuro Karier Studenckich - laboratorium kompetencji odpowiadających potrzebom gospodarki, rynku pracy i społeczeństwa", w ramach którego eksperci rynku pracy oraz ds. przedsiębiorczości przygotują studentów do rozpoczęcia i rozwijania dopasowanej do ich predyspozycji kariery zawodowej.
W ramach projektu oferujemy:

Projekt skierowany jest do studentów 6-7 semestru I stopnia i 2-3 semestru II stopnia w Politechnice Śląskiej.
Spotkania z doradcą zawodowym będą indywidualne i dopasowane do czasu którym dysponujesz.
"Laboratorium kompetencji" to pomoc w znalezieniu pracy na miarę Twoich potrzeb, możliwości i oczekiwań.

Gold Medal for Long-term Service for our Employee
It is with great honour that we inform you that Roman Wituła, DSc, Eng., Assoc. Prof. at Silesian University of Technology, a long-standing employee of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, has been awarded the Gold Medal for Long-term Service, conferred by the President of the Republic of Poland.
Language success of students of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics
Two students of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics qualified for the second stage of the XXVI National Higher Technical Education English Language Olympiad!
Nearly 600 students from 15 technical universities from all over Poland took part in the competition. Congratulations and we keep our fingers crossed for further success!

A student of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, Adrianna Maszniew, has won 3rd place in the 21st edition of the “My Idea for Business” competition!
The competition promotes entrepreneurship among students of the Silesian University of Technology, and her project was recognized for its innovation and market potential. Congratulations!
Report on the VII Chess Tournament for the Applied Mathematics Faculty Championship
The annual Applied Mathematics Faculty Championship Chess Tournament was held on 30 May 2025. This was the seventh edition of the Applied Mathematics Faculty Chess Championship. This year's event was characterised by a record number of participants, as well as a high level.
