"Warsztaty programowania od podstaw na przykładzie języka programowania Python" - plan warsztatu:

czym jest kod, jak rozmawiać z komputerem, podstawowe typy danych i konstrukcje kodu.

napisanie własnego ekonomicznego kalkulatora.
Prowadząca: Karolina Herlender - programistka Nokii w dziale Tools&Automatation zajmuje się na co dzień budowaniem stron internetowych przy użyciu frameworka Pythona Django. W wolnym czasie najchętniej zajmuje się nauką programowania J

Uczestnicy proszeni są o przyniesienie laptopa z zainstalowanym Pythonem w wersji min 3.4 ==> https://www.python.org/downloads

Gold Medal for Long-term Service for our Employee
It is with great honour that we inform you that Roman Wituła, DSc, Eng., Assoc. Prof. at Silesian University of Technology, a long-standing employee of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, has been awarded the Gold Medal for Long-term Service, conferred by the President of the Republic of Poland.

The competition promotes entrepreneurship among students of the Silesian University of Technology, and her project was recognized for its innovation and market potential. Congratulations!
Report on the VII Chess Tournament for the Applied Mathematics Faculty Championship
The annual Applied Mathematics Faculty Championship Chess Tournament was held on 30 May 2025. This was the seventh edition of the Applied Mathematics Faculty Chess Championship. This year's event was characterised by a record number of participants, as well as a high level.
