Letnie Praktyki Badawcze to oryginalny sposób na aktywne spędzenie wakacji w interdyscyplinarnym gronie ambitnych, młodych ludzi. Udział w Praktykach umożliwia uczestnictwo w różnorodnych projektach: zarówno zlecanych przez firmy jak i naukowo-badawczych. Letnie Praktyki Badawcze, dzięki unikalnemu systemowi pracy, pozwalają na wszechstronny rozwój ich uczestników. Najlepsi praktykanci, po ukończeniu Praktyk i cyklu specjalistycznych szkoleń, mają szansę dołączenia do zespołu organizatorów. Letnie Praktyki Badawcze przeznaczone są dla studentów o szerokim spektrum zainteresowań naukowych, począwszy od matematyki i informatyki, poprzez nanotechnologię, na ekonomii i zarządzaniu kończąc.
Praktyki organizowane są w miesiącach letnich, lipiec-wrzesień w Warszawie w oparciu o Centrum Zastosowań Matematyki Instytutu Matematycznego PAN.

Gold Medal for Long-term Service for our Employee
It is with great honour that we inform you that Roman Wituła, DSc, Eng., Assoc. Prof. at Silesian University of Technology, a long-standing employee of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, has been awarded the Gold Medal for Long-term Service, conferred by the President of the Republic of Poland.

Two students of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics qualified for the second stage of the XXVI National Higher Technical Education English Language Olympiad!

Report on the VII Chess Tournament for the Applied Mathematics Faculty Championship
The annual Applied Mathematics Faculty Championship Chess Tournament was held on 30 May 2025. This was the seventh edition of the Applied Mathematics Faculty Chess Championship. This year's event was characterised by a record number of participants, as well as a high level.
